Watch: Lillard sinks Nuggets with clutch floater in OT

Few players in the entire league are better with the game on the line than Damian Lillard.

The 6-foot-3 point guard added to his growing resume of clutch plays on Saturday night, nailing a tough floater to down the Denver Nuggets in overtime.

The defeat will be a tough one to swallow for Denver, who led by eight with less than 50 seconds remaining in regulation before the Blazers went on an 8-0 run to force overtime. The Nuggets failed to make a field goal in the last 3:11 of the contest and accumulated four missed shots, two turnovers, and two missed free throws in the final minute of play.

Lillard led the way for the 2-1 Blazers, finishing with 37 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and three steals in 41 minutes.
