After barely beating two subpar teams to start the season, Victor Oladipo knows the Oklahoma City Thunder will need to be better if they want any shot of making the playoffs in 2016-17.

And while many of the Thunder's rotation players have struggled, Oladipo isn't worried given the spectacular play of his backcourt mate this season.

"Luckily we've got the best player in the world," Oladipo told reporters following Friday's contest. "So, we'll be alright."

After flirting with a triple-double on Wednesday, Westbrook finished with one of the most dominant performances in franchise history versus the Phoenix Suns, collecting 51 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals in a 113-110 victory Friday night.

"This dude right here wants to win more than anyone in the world," Oladipo told ESPN's Royce Young. "And he'll do anything to do that. The misconception of what he used to be or what he is, is false. This is coming from me, I was with him for two months straight in the summer time. Just looking in his eyes and talking to him you see how smart he is, what type of basketball player he is. He'll do anything to win."

Westbrook and company will have the opportunity to build off their win over Phoenix when they face the Los Angeles Lakers at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Saturday.
