Thunder's Alex Abrines: Yet to be cleared for contact

Abrines (hip) has yet to be cleared for contact during practice and remains questionable for Wednesday's regular season opener against the Sixers, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.

Analysis:

Abrines will likely need to take part in a full practice either Monday or Tuesday in order to be cleared, so he should be considered day-to-day for the time being. Abrines is expected to open the season as a shooting specialist off the bench, but if the rookie is unable to play in the opener, Anthony Morrow could have the chance to get some additional shots up off the bench.
