Wizards' Daniel Ochefu: Makes 15-man roster

Ochefu survived final cuts and with open the regular season as a member of the Wizards' 15-man roster.

Analysis:

It looked very likely that Ochefu, one of three undrafted rookies to make the roster, would be cut during training camp, but with Ian Mahinmi likely sidelined through at least late November with a partially torn meniscus, extra depth was needed at center. Ochefu probably won't be included in coach Scott Brooks' rotation very often, as Marcin Gortat and Jason Smith figure to see the bulk of the minutes at the position until Mahinmi is able to return.
