Rockets' Pablo Prigioni: Questionable for Friday

Prigioni (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Friday's preseason finale against the Spurs, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston (KRIV) reports.

Analysis:

Prigioni has missed the last two games while dealing with a left shoulder strain and it wouldn't be surprising if he was ultimately held out Friday in order to avoid any further complications prior to the regular season. He's expected to open the season as the team's backup point guard, but if he misses additional time, Tyler Ennis would likely see added run with the second unit. Both Prigioni and Ennis could drop out of the rotation entirely once Patrick Beverley (knee) returns, though it's unlikely that Beverley will be available for next week's regular-season opener.
