Bucks' Michael Beasley: Will not play Wednesday

Beasley (elbow) has been ruled out for Wednesday's preseason finale against the Pacers, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Beasley will be held out of his second straight game while he contends with the right elbow injury. He'll offer the Bucks some scoring punch off the bench during the regular season, but it's uncertain if he'll see a sizable role right away after the injury robbed coach Jason Kidd of an opportunity to evaluate the forward over the final two exhibition games. Beasley's first priority is to get himself back to full strength before the Oct. 26 opener against the Hornets.
