Lue 'loves' that GM survey favors Warriors over Cavs in re-rematch

It's unanimous: 100 percent of general managers polled by NBA.com believe that the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will meet in the NBA Finals for a third straight year.

Not nearly as unanimous - only 31 percent picked the Cavaliers to repeat as champions as compared to the 69 percent of general managers who like the Warriors to pick up their second title in three years.

Cleveland fans might take issue with their defending champions being overlooked, but Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue feels entirely different.

"Thank you," Lue said of the lopsided vote, according to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com. "I love it."

Having added Kevin Durant to their 73-win core, the Warriors are widely expected to run roughshod over the league. Last season's demise came in large part because Golden State's supporting players couldn't make up for mediocre showings from Stephen Curry. Now the team has Durant to call upon when Curry isn't at his best.

At the same time, the Cavs are the defending champions and they're being somewhat written off similar to last season. The Warriors looked like overwhelming favorites and Cleveland was said to be dead in the water after falling down 3-1 in the series. But as evidenced by their comeback, a team with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving can never be counted out.
