Jury deliberations to begin Wednesday in Rose civil trial

Attorneys for both parties in the ongoing Derrick Rose sexual assault civil trial made their closing arguments on Tuesday, with a Los Angeles federal court jury beginning their deliberations on Wednesday.
The woman's lawyer informed the jury that all his client wants is accountability on the part of the defendants, and that she is by no means a gold digger. Rose's party responded by saying the woman is simply a liar using her tears to manipulate the jury's decision.
Rose's lawyers also said his ex-girlfriend is faking her story in order to extort money from the New York Knicks point guard.
Rose and two of his friends are being sued for $21 million due to allegedly raping his ex-girlfriend while she was intoxicated in August 2013.
