Nets' Trevor Booker: Gets Monday night off

Booker was held out of Monday's 120-99 preseason loss to the Celtics for rest.

Analysis:

Coach Kenny Atkinson hasn't announced his starting lineup for the beginning of the regular season, but Booker looks like a safe bet to start at power forward. He's worked with the top unit in all four of his preseason games and turned in his best effort of the exhibition schedule in his most recent appearance last Thursday against these same Celtics, producing 11 points and 12 rebounds over 30 minutes.
