Jazz's Shelvin Mack: Continues strong preseason with bench-leading effort

Mack supplied 14 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-6 FT), three assists, two rebounds and a steal over 16 minutes in Monday's 104-78 preseason loss to the Clippers.

Analysis:

Mack has been outstanding throughout the exhibition slate despite playing 18 minutes or less in four of five games. Although he now has three double-digit scoring efforts overall, Monday's outing was his most efficient on a per-minute basis. However, with George Hill entrenched as the starter at point guard and backup Dante Exum playing well the last two games, it's expected that Mack will see even more limited minutes once the regular season commences.
