Jazz's Alec Burks: Goes through agility drills Sunday

Burks (ankle) took part in agility drills following Sunday's practice, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Analysis:

It's good to hear Burks was going through some agility drills, but considering he still has yet to be cleared for contact with less than two weeks until the regular season opener, it's uncertain if he'll be available at that time. Coach Quin Snyder indicated earlier this month that Burks doesn't have a timetable for a return, and that still looks to be the case, as there's been nothing to suggest he's close to practicing in full.
