Warriors' David West: Sitting out Saturday

West will sit out Saturday's preseason game against the Lakers for rest purposes, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

West played 15 minutes against the Nuggets on Friday, logging four points, four assists, four rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 15 minutes. He'll be held out of the second game of the Warriors' back-to-back set as coach Steve Kerr looks to manage his minutes in preparation for the start of the regular season.
