Lakers' Jose Calderon: Ruled out for Saturday

Analysis:

Calderon will be reevaluated on Monday and his next opportunity to play will be in Wednesday's preseason contest with the Warriors. He has been used sparingly throughout the preseason, as at 35 years old, head coach Luke Walton is taking every precautionary measure to make sure his veteran point guard is healthy for the regular season. This injury does not appear to be serious, but the team will know more on Monday.
