Knicks' Joakim Noah: Back to practice Friday

Noah (ankle) returned to practice on Friday, Ian Begley of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Noah was held out of Thursday's practice with a sore right ankle, but his return just a day later is certainly an encouraging sign. head coach Jeff Hornacek said Thursday that he believes Noah will play in Saturday's preseason game against the Celtics and his status looks to be trending in that direction. Should Noah be active, it will be his first action of this preseason.
