Hawks' Dwight Howard: Solid Hawks debut Thursday

Howard collected six points (3-7 FG, 0-2 FT) and seven rebounds across 18 minutes in Thursday's 104-83 preseason victory over the Grizzlies.

Analysis:

Howard wasn't on the court for long, but generally provided sound production while he was out there. The 30-year-old should be a focal point of the Hawks' attack this season with the team bidding adieu to Jeff Teague and Al Horford during the summer, but the big man's durability will certainly be of vital importance. He's missed at least 11 games in each of the last three seasons, making him a greater health risk than many other starting centers around the league.
