Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas doesn't expect to miss any time after suffering a sprained wrist during Thursday's preseason contest against the Charlotte Hornets.

"It ain't broke, so I'm good," Thomas told reporters following the game.

"You fall on it, it hurts, but I'm used to that pain. When I do tweak it a little bit I try to just ice it so it won't be swollen the next day."

The 5-foot-9 guard is coming off a career season, averaging 22.2 points, 6.2 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals en route to his first All-Star appearance.

Thomas finished the night with 13 points, five assists, and a plus-15 rating in 17 minutes.

The Celtics' next preseason game takes place Saturday in the second part of a home-and-home series with the Hornets.
