Wiggins aims to dunk on former Jayhawks teammate Embiid

Andrew Wiggins has waited two full seasons for the opportunity to dunk on his former Kansas Jayhawks teammate.

Now that Joel Embiid is finally back on the court following his battle with a broken foot, Wiggins has officially put the hit out on the 7-foot-2 Cameroonian.

"My boy JoJo Embiid from the Sixers," Wiggins answered in response to who he wanted to dunk on, as per Rob Perez of Fox Sports. "I never got him in college, time to get him now."

Cutting down Embiid, however, will not be easy, as he's bulked up quite a bit since 2014 when he and Wiggins were teammates. Embiid is now up to 275 pounds, and immediately flashed his gifted defensive capabilities in his first taste of NBA action when he denied Boston Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown at the basket.

But then again, Wiggins is no slouch.

He's already posterized some of the league's best rim-protectors in his young career, and if he can do this to Rudy Gobert, then dunking on Embiid should be no tall order:

Wiggins will get his first crack at Embiid on Nov. 17.
