Heat's Josh McRoberts: Limited participant at practice Thursday

McRoberts (foot) was a limited participant during Thursday's practice, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

McRoberts has been recovering from a stress reaction in his left foot and has yet to see action during the preseason schedule. Since he's still just a limited participant in practice, it's possible that McRoberts' recovery timeline could last another week or more. McRoberts is expected to compete for the starting power forward role with Chris Bosh (blood clots) unlikely to play for the Heat again, but his health issues could ultimately keep him in a bench role to begin the season.
