Bosh learned of failed physical through media

It's been no great secret that Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat haven't seen eye-to-eye over his health, and that some tensions have spawned between the two sides as a result.

The latest revelation about their crumbling relationship is that Bosh apparently learned of his failed physical through the media, instead of hearing it from the Heat.

"I didn't see my career in Miami ending like this," Bosh said in his latest piece for Uninterrupted. "I didn't get a call or a text or anything like that. I mean, it's a business. We understand that. We always say those things. But if you say certain things to the person and you win championships and you have these moments, you don't want to find things out through the media."

A return to action looked to be on the horizon for Bosh heading into training camp, but that was contingent on a clean physical. When the latest tests found more evidence of blood clots - the same condition that derailed each of Bosh's last two seasons - the Heat decided to move on.

Bosh's health is one matter. But the Heat's increasingly dodgy handling of their star players is another. It was only six years ago that Bosh shared the spotlight with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Each of them have since moved on from the team with their own grievances in one way or another.

Wade - the best player in Heat history who delivered three championships - left the team this summer after yet another round of contentious contractual negotiations, and it was revealed last week he's still yet to receive a goodbye email from Heat president and former coach Pat Riley.

Riley claims he wrote the email, he just hasn't clicked send quite yet. But that's a drop in the bucket compared to alienating every member of the "Big Three."

"I want to tell Miami, everybody in Miami, this not how I planned it to be," Bosh said. "They don't want to hear Dwyane's gone. They don't want to hear, 'Oh, yeah, Chris is never going to play for the Miami Heat again.' I just feel for the fans. I wanted to give them more. I wanted to give them something better. Because they deserve better than what they're getting right now."
