76ers' Jerryd Bayless: Doesn't scrimmage Friday

Bayless (wrist) was held out of Friday's scrimmage, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Bayless has been bothered by left wrist soreness over the last couple of days, but it's not expected to jeopardize his availability for the start of the regular season. However, Bayless could be held out of the preseason opener Tuesday against the Celtics, potentially paving the way for T.J. McConnell to get some run with the top unit.
