Warriors' Anderson Varejao: Cleared for training camp

Varejao (back) is good to go for the start of training camp, Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman reports.

Analysis:

Varejao has dealt with some back issues for a good portion of the offseason, which was the reason he was forced to sit out of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. However, after an additional couple of months off for further rest and recovery, Varejao is feeling refreshed and shouldn't face many limitations in camp. With Zaza Pachulia expected to start at center and Draymond Green also seeing time at the position when the Warriors roll out their 'death lineup,' Varejao will have a tough time picking up major minutes during the upcoming campaign.
