Nuggets' Darrell Arthur: Expected to return midway through camp

Arthur (knee) is expected to receive full clearance midway through training camp, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

Arthur underwent a knee scope earlier this month to remove some bone debris, but he's already resumed running for a week and a half, indicating he's progressing in a positive manner. Assuming Arthur's recovery timetable remains on track, he'll be a rotation option for coach Mike Malone to open the regular season, but he'll likely see his minutes take a bit of hit now that Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Jusuf Nurkic are back to full health.
