Dirk Nowitzki throws shade at Twitter troll for time-zone flub

One of Dirk Nowitzki's Twitter followers clearly hasn't heard of the song "It's Five O' Clock Somewhere" by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett.

When the Dallas Mavericks' star tweeted out a link to his Pro Celebrity Tennis Classic tournament Sunday morning, a follower unaware that the entire world doesn't operate in one exact time zone, questioned why the Germanator was up so early.

The 38-year-old's tolerance for smart-aleck remarks isn't overly high during the NBA offseason, it seems.

Assuming Nowitzki tweeted out from his native Germany, the time difference between Deutschland and Los Angeles - where the follower is from - is nine hours.
