Cousins sponsors panel session to help strengthen police-community relations

In an effort to strengthen the relationship between police and the community in his hometown of Mobile, Ala., Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins is sponsoring a panel discussion this Labor Day weekend.
The event - "Man to Man: Build the Trust, Break the Silence" - will feature both prominent community leaders and the Mobile Police Department, with an eye on strengthening the relationship between the two parties.

Cousins helped USA Basketball teammate Carmelo Anthony with his panel last month, taking part in discussions with police and local community leaders at the Boys & Girls Club in South Central Los Angeles.
