Bulls' Butler, McDermott survive intense drills on Mexican beach

Jimmy Butler and Doug McDermott are putting in work this offseason, even while, presumably, on vacation.

Trainer Travelle Gaines shared a video Tuesday of the Chicago Bulls players working on their lateral speed on a beach in Mexico.

McDermott did his best to stay in front of his All-Star teammate, which is hard enough without the blistering heat and sand between their toes.

Butler posted a photo of the duo exercising in a pool afterward, saying he "almost" died from the beach session.
