You can't blame the Nets organization for making the obvious connection between the surname of their new starting starting point guard and the name of the city the team is based in for marketing purposes.

Jeremy Lin, who signed a reported three-year, $36-million contract over the summer, has become one of the faces of the Nets franchise, and should help with the team's merchandise revenue considering the large following he has and the market he's now competing in.

If you check out the Nets' official online store, you can pick up a T-shirt with Lin's likeness featuring the words "BrookLin" or "Brook-Linsanity" displayed on the front.

Each shirt costs $26, and can only be purchased online or at the Barclays Center itself.

Lin comes to the Bronx after spending last season with the Charlotte Hornets, where he averaged 11.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and three assists in 78 appearances.
