When the King beckons, his subjects follow.

LeBron James will continue his long-held tradition of hosting a summer workout for his teammates, this time in advance of the Cleveland Cavaliers' title defense.

James will host the workouts in Los Angeles, according to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com. Practicing on the footsteps of the Hollywood Hills makes sense given that several players - including James - spend their summers in L.A..

Nearly every player on the roster is expected to attend.

That includes Kyrie Irving, who only had a month to recover between Cleveland's championship run that ended in mid-June and Team USA's Olympic chase that began in late-July.

Cavaliers coaches are also making plans to attend, Vardon reports.

Since returning to Cleveland, James has hosted annual workouts for his teammates near Labor Day. In 2014, the workouts were held near his home in Ohio. They changed locales by training in Miami last year.

Cleveland's official team training camp starts Sept. 22.
