It's believed Nick Young has been harboring ill will toward Los Angeles Lakers teammate D'Angelo Russell since March, when the then-rookie recorded him admitting to infidelities in a video that went viral.

Russell had apologized, but in the hours, days, weeks, even months that followed, Young tweeted out cryptic messages that showed no signs of forgiveness.

They say time heals all wounds, though, and the 6-foot-7 swingman may finally be ready to let bygones be bygones.

"We're teammates," he told Mark Medina of the LA Daily News of Russell. "It's been so long, so it's kind of old. We'll be able to work it out. We've already been working it out. It is what it is. I can't be mad forever."

Swaggy P also apparently changed his mind about his feelings regarding Russell's Foot Locker ad, in which his advice to rookie Ben Simmons involved chucking his phone out the window and into the ocean.

He finds it funny now.

"I need my commercial now," the 31-year-old said, laughing. "I'll explain what happened to my life."

A lot has happened in his life since the video made the rounds on social media, and many details have been just as public. He and his then-fiance Iggy Azalea have since broken up, while rumors have swirled about the Lakers potentially buying out his two-year, $11-million deal ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.

He wants to stay in Los Angeles, though, citing that his career is "back on track" and he's been training hard this offseason. Young also raved about L.A.'s hiring of head coach Luke Walton after having a trying relationship with outgoing coach Byron Scott.

In letting go of grudges and focusing on basketball, Young hopes his future holds far less drama both on and off the court.
