Fan who wore MJ uniform in pickup gets gear, phone call from his idol
Jeffrey Harrison became something of a viral sensation in July when videos surfaced of him playing pickup basketball in full Michael Jordan get-up.
Harrison, a 33-year-old autistic man who lives in Idaho, expressed his deep admiration for Jordan to KREM 2's Darnay Tripp after the videos of him had made the internet rounds.
On Friday, Jordan returned the favor.
After Harrison's story was relayed to Jordan through his business manager, Jordan decided to update Harrison's kit, sending him two boxes full of all manner of Jordan-brand gear.

Jordan wasn't done there, including a personalized letter to Harrison in his package.

And, as a capper to the gift, Jordan gave Harrison a call.

"It kind of brought me to tears after I got off the phone so I figured this is really going to be nice," Harrison told Tripp. "The fact that Michael Jordan took the time to call and put all this together. I love it, even the cologne, even the sweats. I love it."
