Myles Turner surprises aunt, grandma with new car
Myles Turner will never forget who helped him get to where he is today.
On Tuesday, the Indiana Pacers big man recorded a live video on Facebook in which he gifts his grandmother and aunt with a new car.
"My grandma and aunt are really responsible for the reasons why I'm here," Turner said. "My aunt was very loving. She did a lot for me when I was playing AAU basketball, as far as getting me to places, being there for support. My grandma was at every game."
His grandmother was speechless, while his aunt said the present is "too much." Turner responded, saying: "No, it's not enough, trust me. It's not enough."
The 20-year-old added that surprising his loved ones with a new white Chevy - clad with a big red ribbon on the hood and balloons in the back seat - was the "smallest thing" he could do. It'll replace a vehicle they had since before he was born.
