Obama 'really' likes Ben Simmons
President Barack Obama has a good feeling about the Philadelphia 76ers following the addition of Ben Simmons.
Obama heaped plenty of praise on this year's No. 1 overall pick while chatting with screenwriter and Sixers fan Michael H. Weber on Tuesday night.
Met President Obama last night & we talked 76ers: "Been a tough few years. But I really like @BenSimmons25. It's about to get a lot better."

(Actually he said "I like Simmons" twice. He added "really" the 2nd time.)

Weber also brought up the rumors of Obama possibly owning an NBA team one day and asked if he could buy the Sixers. The POTUS didn't say no.
After mentioning rumors of him getting involved in owning a team one day I asked, "Can you buy the Sixers?" He laughed, then said, "Maybe."

Not satisfied, I then firmly told the leader of the free world, "You should buy the Sixers." He looked at me & smiled, "It could happen."
