Charlie Villanueva has been very open about his struggle with alopecia, using his platform as an NBA player to educate others on the autoimmune disease.
The free agent got the word inked on his arm Tuesday, along with angel wings and a halo, to show his support to all those living with alopecia.
"Did it for my angels. Charlie's Angels," Villanueva wrote on Instagram. "Without having Alopecia I don't know where I would be. Alopecia is a blessing in disguise and it made me who I am today. So What is Alopecia? My purpose in life."
