Kanter pokes fun at Thunder beat writer for leaving to cover Warriors
Departing Oklahoma City to head to the Bay Area isn't a move reserved for four-time scoring champions.
Thunder beat writer Anthony Slater announced Tuesday that he'll be leaving the Oklahoman to cover the 73-win Golden State Warriors next season for the San Jose Mercury News/Bay Area News Group.
This caught the attention of center Enes Kanter, who had already experienced the heartache of losing 27-year-old forward Kevin Durant to the Thunder's rivals last month on a two-year, $54.3-million contract.
Kanter wished Slater well in his future endeavors, but jokingly called the journalist a "traitor" on his way out.
Wow!! Another traitor 😂😂
