Jazz's Tibor Pleiss: Shoots well in summer league
Pleiss averaged 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds across 21.9 minutes per game over nine summer league appearances.
Analysis:
Perhaps the most interesting development of Pleiss' summer league was his experimentation with the three-point line, as the 7-foot-3 center shot a lethal 47.2 percent from beyond the arc, while also knocking down 92.8 percent of his free throws. It's become more commonplace in today's NBA for big men to float out on the perimeter, but it's still rare for a player of Pleiss' height (7-foot-3) to stretch the floor like this. Pleiss rarely saw the court as a rookie while he was buried on the Jazz's depth chart, but his unique skill set could afford him a little bit more of an extended look in 2016-17.
