Celtics' Guerschon Yabusele: Will play in China next season

Yabusele signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association, Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

This comes as no surprise to the Celtics, given the number of draft picks Boston would be bringing in and their depth in the frontcourt, but the team will still hold the draft rights of the 20-year-old forward from France should he decide to return to the NBA next season. Yabusele is coming off a solid summer league showing where he averaged 8.2 points and 6.0 rebounds over 25 minutes per game.
