Timberwolves' Kris Dunn: Not practicing with select team

Dunn (concussion) was held out of Tuesday's practice in Las Vegas with the USA Select Team, Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN AM reports.

Analysis:

Dunn sustained a concussion last week during the Las Vegas Summer League, resulting in him missing the Timberwolves' final five contests. He still has yet to be cleared through the NBA's concussion protocol, but the expectation is that he'll be fully recovered by the time training camp arrives in the fall. Dunn figures to be confined to the sidelines as a precaution throughout the select team's training camp this week, but interacting with some of the NBA's top young players along with the United States' Summer Olympics squad should be a positive experience for the rookie point guard.
