Suns' Tyler Ulis: Impresses in Las Vegas

Ulis averaged 14.5 points, 6.3 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game in six appearances during the Las Vegas Summer League.

Analysis:

While Ulis didn't shoot the ball overly well -- 41.2 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from three-point land -- he was disruptive defensively and turned the ball over fewer than twice per game, while averaging more than 32 minutes. His performance earned him second-team All-Summer League honors, while teammate Alan Williams was named to the first team. With Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe firmly ahead of him on the depth chart, it's still unclear how Ulis will fit in as a rookie, but his summer league showing was about as encouraging as the Suns could have hoped.
