While the new 'Hack-a-Shaq' rule drew plenty of buzz, the most interesting takeaway from Adam Silver's board of governors press conference on Tuesday were his comments regarding the new-look Golden State Warriors.

The commissioner did not mince words when addressing reporters, claiming that any type of superteam was "not good for the league" and that the league would need to "re-examine elements of their system" moving forward.

While Silver's comments certainly signaled that a change will be coming during the next CBA, Warriors owner Joe Lacob is not concerned about his team's future.

"Let them talk," Lacob told ESPN's Ethan Sherwood Strauss.

Both the owners and players have until Dec. 15, 2016 to opt out of the current CBA, and all reports indicate that the NBPA will. When they do, it's likely that the abolishment of superteams will be discussed in some capacity, as the league searches for greater parity.
