Isaiah Thomas was 'starstruck' meeting Tom Brady

Isaiah Thomas had a difficult time keeping his cool when he met New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during the Boston Celtics' recruiting pitch to Kevin Durant.

"I've always been a fan of (Brady)," Thomas told A. Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE.com. "But getting to meet him, I'm even more of a fan.

"I'm not usually starstruck. But that was one of those cases ... I didn't know what to ask him. He's so down to earth."

The two ended up hitting it off during the meeting and exchanged numbers, with Brady shooting Thomas a text later that night.

"I'm going to keep in touch with him," Thomas said.
