Celtics GM: 'We're not done yet'

Almost all of the top-tier talent in free agency may already be gone, but Boston Celtics general manager Danny Ainge affirmed that the offseason is far from over for his ball club.

"We're not done," Ainge told Brian Robb of boston.com. "We have the same plans. If you don't get what you want you have to keep fighting and make the best of it. Everybody wants Kevin Durant on your team and not everyone gets him."

While Boston didn't land Durant, it arguably got the next best thing, agreeing to a four-year contract with four-time All-Star Al Horford just days into free agency.

For obvious reasons, Ainge didn't name any specific players that Boston would look to add as the offseason continues, but did admit the Celtics will continue to look for both shooting and size up front.

"We need more shooting. We have some guys who are versatile and can play center and four. We can use a stronger center, and those are the two biggest things. Maybe another ball handler as well," he said.

Given that Boston will almost certainly be over the roster limit after signing its rookies to pro contracts, it seems likely that Ainge will make a trade prior to Opening Night. Whether Ainge will be able to land another All-Star remains to be seen, but it appears to be a foregone conclusion that the Celtics will be active in the coming months.
