Report: Nets sign RFA Johnson to 4-year, $50M offer sheet
The Miami Heat have another decision on their hands.
With the NBA's moratorium lifted, the Brooklyn Nets have signed restricted free-agent Tyler Johnson to a four-year, $50-million offer sheet, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski. Making matters even more complicated for the Heat, Wojnarowski reports that the contract is back loaded, with the third and fourth years of the deal worth more than $18 million and $19 million, respectively.
Miami now has three days to match the offer in order to retain Johnson's services.

Johnson, who reportedly had comparable offer sheets to choose from, averaged 8.7 points, three rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 36 games with the Heat this past season, knocking down 38 percent of his 3-point attempts in 24 minutes per game.
The 24-year-old, undrafted guard has appeared in only 68 games over the last two seasons, and made roughly $507,000 during the 2015-16 campaign.
