The Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks are currently in advanced talks surrounding a trade for center Andrew Bogut, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Dallas is reportedly working on renouncing contracts in order to absorb the final year of Bogut's contract worth approximately $12.7 million, according to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski. This would also provide the organization flexibility to also attempt to sign Warriors forward Harrison Barnes, as well as retain cornerstone sharpshooter Dirk Nowitzki.

This comes on the heels of Kevin Durant's announcement on the Players' Tribune that he'll be joining the 73-win Warriors next season on a reported two-year, $54-million contract.

Bogut has been a member of the Warriors for the past three seasons after coming over in a five-player trade with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2012. He's dealt with his fair share of injuries over the years, but when healthy, he's a solid rim-protector who can move the ball out of the post and provide sporadic offense around the basket.

In 70 appearances during the 2015-16 campaign, the 31-year-old Aussie big man contributed averages of 5.4 points, seven rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.6 blocks in 20.7 minutes per game.
