Manu Ginobili tweets he's returning to Spurs for another season

Free-agent shooting guard Manu Ginobili announced on Thursday morning that he will return to the San Antonio Spurs for another season.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal is far from shocking, given that the 38-year-old already stated in a blog post last week that he was returning for a 15th season, and it would've been surprising if it wasn't with the only franchise he's ever known.

In 58 games this past season, Ginobili averaged 9.6 points, 3.1 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals on 45.3 percent shooting and 39.1 percent from deep.

San Antonio is still waiting on Tim Duncan's retirement decision, but reports indicate he's leaning toward calling it quits.
