Warriors' Shaun Livingston: Has option picked up by Warriors

The Warriors have picked up Livingston's $5.78 million option for the 2016-17 season, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Livingston was already guaranteed $3 million of the contract, but the final $2.78 million of the deal won't become officially guaranteed until Thursday. Now set to begin his third full season with the Warriors, Livingston will once again serve as Stephen Curry's main backup at point guard, and is the top candidate to enter the starting five whenever Curry misses time due to injury.
