Perhaps DeMar DeRozan and his agent should pick up the phone and set up some free-agency meetings.

DeRozan isn't taking any meetings aside from hearing from the Toronto Raptors, but that's not deterring teams from making inquiries.

The Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, and the Los Angeles Lakers have interest in signing DeRozan this summer, USA Today's Sam Amick reports.

The 26-year-old, however, has repeatedly pronounced his wish to remain in Toronto - the only team he's ever known. Since being drafted ninth overall in 2009, DeRozan blossomed into a top-10 scorer while leading a perennial playoff team that shattered multiple franchise records this season.

Those 2015-16 season highlights include: 56 wins, two playoff series, two all-star representatives, and including DeRozan, two Team USA participants in the upcoming summer Olympics.

The Raptors also have the inside track by being able to offer DeRozan a fifth year (other teams can only offer four). The difference would come to $39 million over the life of DeRozan's contract.

Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri called re-signing their leading scorer his team's "No. 1 goal" for the offseason.

That being said, should talks between the Raptors and DeRozan break down, it appears he'll have plenty of other options to turn to. The Los Angeles native has both hometown teams chasing him, while the Warriors and Heat are prime free-agency destinations.
