Report: Celtics, Bulls continue to discuss trade involving Butler
The Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls continue to have discussions surrounding a potential trade involving All-Star guard Jimmy Butler, league sources told the The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Jae Crowder and the No. 3 pick in the NBA draft could also be included, The Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson reports. Avery Bradley's name has also been tossed around.
Chicago appears to be enticed by guard Kris Dunn, but aren't a fan of what Boston is offering.
ESPN's Marc Stein adds that Butler has been high on Boston's wish list, but will only pull the trigger on a move if the offer makes sense.
The Celtics also possess picks No. 16, 23, 31, 35, 45, 51, and 58 in the draft.
The Bulls recently dealt former league MVP Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks in a package for Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant, and Jose Calderon.
