Report: Thunder shopping Ibaka

The Oklahoma City Thunder may be looking to trade power forward Serge Ibaka, according to ESPN's Marc J. Spears.

It's an interesting development ahead of Thursday's NBA draft. The Thunder are all-in in attempting to retain franchise player Kevin Durant this summer, so to move the man he's played next to in the Oklahoma City frontcourt for the past seven seasons, they would likely need to get something of consequence in return.

At the same time, the Thunder are not flush with space even with the cap rising to a reported $94 million. Ibaka is due $12.3 million next season before becoming a free agent alongside Russell Westbrook - and possibly Durant if he signs a one-year deal in OKC - in the summer of 2017.

Ibaka, 26, averaged 12.6 points and 6.8 rebounds on 32.6 percent 3-point shooting last season - numbers that were a five-year low for the Congolese-born Spaniard.
