Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III committed a major internet faux pas on Monday when he reappropriated a celebratory image tweeted out by the Cleveland Cavaliers Twitter account.
In a show of solidarity, Griffin sent out his congratulations to the Cavs but the image was clearly stolen and bizarrely had a "2016 Robert Griffin III" watermark placed in the bottom left corner:
Congrats to the Champs! Epic series & an epic win for #TheLand pic.twitter.com/nnp4Zp0Rng

RG3 was (rightly) called out by the presumable maker of the image, Joey Caione, who works as a web designer for the Cavs.
Griffin III has not responded.
@RGIII I'm glad you like the graphic but you didn't have to cut @Cavs off & slap your name on it. GFX like that take a ton of time to make.
