Fan in hospital after falling from deck at Game 7
OAKLAND, Calif. - Authorities say a fan fell from the second to the first deck of Oakland's Oracle Arena after the Cleveland Cavaliers' Game 7 victory over the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
KCBS reports that the name of the man, who is in his 20s, was not released. He is in critical but stable condition at a hospital.
The fall occurred Sunday night after the man and another fan got into a fight on the second deck. The man fell to the first deck, said Oakland Police spokeswoman Johnna Watson. No one else was injured.
The incident is being investigated by the Oakland Police Department felony assault unit. No arrests were made.
Police also issued five citations and removed two people from the arena. One person was arrested for illegal ticket sales and public intoxication.
