The basketball world was treated to one of the most riveting, dramatic games in NBA history on Sunday, and not even the most Presidential of hoops fans could contain himself.

As confirmed by the White House itself, President Obama delayed his exit from Air Force One so that he could watch the conclusion of Game 7 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors, which saw LeBron James' Cavs bring Cleveland its first major sports championship in 52 years.

It's no wonder Obama was so gripped by the action, as after a series and a postseason that had been defined by blowouts, Game 7 of the NBA finals saw 20 lead changes, 11 ties, and only a four-point margin of victory in the end.

When it was all said and done, the POTUS offered his congratulations to James and Cleveland.
